How to use contact lenses
When you're ready to start wearing contact lenses, it's important to know how to use them. Here are some tips for getting started:
1 - Wash your hands and the lens case before using your contact lenses.
2 - Remove your eyeglasses if you wear them while using your contacts.
3 - If you have a hard time seeing while wearing contacts, try blinking more often or closing one eye when looking through the lens.
4 - Don't reuse contact lenses between uses; they can cause infection and damage eyesight.
If you have ever had to wear contact lenses, you know how inconvenient it can be. It can also be painful, which makes it even more annoying. There are some things you can do to make wearing contacts a little more bearable, though.
First of all, remember that your eyes are not just for seeing! They also help you to smell and taste—so don't forget about them! If you find that the contacts start to irritate your eyes after a while, try taking a break from them for a few hours and see if that helps.
If your contacts get in the way of looking at something close up or far away, try cleaning them with rubbing alcohol before putting them back in your eye. This will help keep bacteria from growing underneath the lens itself so that they don't build up enough pressure on your cornea to cause pain or irritation.
If it's been awhile since you've put in new lenses, take an extra minute or two to clean them thoroughly before putting them in. Also make sure that both lenses are facing upward at all times—this will keep them from drying out even faster than usual!
